FREESAT
Freesat has been developed to provide greater network coverage for the UK, with approximately 98% of all UK households being able to receive the satellite signal, providing digital viewing for those who are unable to receive the current Freeview signal.
Freesat, as the name suggests, is free satellite viewing for anyone who wishes to watch digital TV. With over 140 channels including TV & Radio available, the introduction of HD channels and Freesat+ boxes, Freesat could provide a superb alternative to the Sky Freesat system which has been available for several years.
As opposed to the Sky Freesat, you will not require a card to unlock the free channels available and the BBC has announced their system will remain free, forever.
All you pay for is the system and installation.
